The portrait kit is an easy kit that is fun to do with kids as young as 5 as it has a blunt needle that is safer for little hands.
With this kit you’ll learn Back stitch, Cross stitch stitch and Straight/running stitch

The kit has everything you need to pick up a sewing needle and create your own portrait that can be added to a card or framed:

*Face outline to trace

*Aida fabric to stitch on – Red, blue or purple available – please request colour preference and l’ll try my best to give you what you want

*DMC Embroidery floss
*1x large blunt embroidery needle
*Your how to guide including how to get started, how to finish and top tips – all tested by embroidery beginners

Frame not included

The Portrait kit is suitable for those who have never done embroidery before. Suitable for ages 5+.

If your little ones enjoy this project you may also want to have a look at the rainbow kit l have for age 6+ which will is a larger project.

These are educational kits and not toys. It is strongly advisable for any child doing this kit to have an adult present to help. It is also a really nice and enjoyable activity to do together. The kit contains a real needle and small parts.
