Looking for a fun, relaxing and creative evening? Join me for a Beginner Ribbon work Embroidery Workshop at The Plough and Harrow, Long Ditton. Perfect for beginners, this friendly and hands-on session will introduce you to beautiful embroidery techniques.
Unleash your creativity with this Ribbon work embroidery class, an ideal choice for beginners, adventurous beginners and seasoned stitchers alike.
During this workshop, you’ll learn how to start with Ribbon work, create beautiful flowers using straight stitch, inverted stab stitches (aka ribbon stitch), lazy daisies and french knots. All the Ribbon work essentials to get you started plus many tops tips. For each of the stitches, we’ll practice the stitches on a separate piece of fabric before moving to the lovely linen with a pre-printed design.
You’ll have a kit to take away including all the needles, ribbons and threads you need to finish your design as well as some pre recorded videos to help you.
Leave with a beautifully hand-stitched piece and the confidence to start your own embroidery projects!
It’s the perfect activity to enjoy with a friend—relax, chat, and get creative in a warm and welcoming setting.
